Key people

Sarah started singing from an early age and whilst still at school played the lead roles in My Fair Lady, Oklahoma! and The Pirates of Penzance. She studied music at Hull University, obtaining a first-class honours degree. After teaching music in York and then Edinburgh, she moved to London to study singing as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won a number of prizes for performance of Early Music. As a professional singer, Sarah has performed as a soprano both in the UK and abroad, touring France, Bulgaria and Macedonia, performing at London's Royal Albert Hall and the Belfast Waterfront Hall. She spends much of her time enthusing others about singing, working as a freelance singing teacher and choral director.
Accompanist: Wyn Highland
Wyn is from Cardigan, Wales and was educated at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, Wadham College, Oxford and the Royal College of Music. He has given recitals all over Britain and Europe, also in Bolivia, Uganda, Australia, New Zealand and all over Asia. He has performed concertos at the Royal Festival Hall, St. David’s Hall, Cardiff and BBC Maida Vale.
Wyn spent a year on the continent as musical director of the European tours of “Cabaret” and “Guys and Dolls”. While there he recorded his first CD. He works extensively as a freelance accompanist around London, and is currently appearing in the West End with "Chicago". On the occasions when he's not razzle dazzling the crowds he joins Jubilate for rehearsals and competitions.
Accompanist: Simon Hester
Simon was born in Sheffield. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he won many prizes for his performances both as a soloist and in chamber music. Simon's career has covered a wide range of musical worlds, and his versatility is much admired. He gives recitals throughout Great Britain and has appeared at the Bath, Edinburgh and Exeter festivals and has toured throughout the UK and abroad with the highly successful show "All You Ever Wanted To Know About Opera." Simon's work in the world of Christian music has always played a large part in his career, he has broadcast on both radio and TV. He continues to perform and compose for many areas of Christian worship and is Worship Director at St Peter's Church Harrow. For the last 10 years Simon has begun writing for media projects and has written for theatre and film. His score for the short film Dumbstruck was screened at Cannes and he is currently preparing a musical for tour in 2011.
