Musical Director - Sarah Stroh

Sarah started singing from an early age and whilst still at school played the lead roles in My Fair Lady, Oklahoma! and The Pirates of Penzance. She studied music at Hull University, obtaining a first-class honours degree. After teaching music in York and then Edinburgh, she moved to London to study singing as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won a number of prizes for performance of Early Music. As a professional singer, Sarah has performed as a soprano both in the UK and abroad, touring France, Bulgaria and Macedonia, performing at London's Royal Albert Hall and the Belfast Waterfront Hall. She spends much of her time enthusing others about singing, working as a freelance singing teacher and choral director. As well as directing Jubilate, Sarah also pioneers its youthful 'offshoot', Jubilate Juniors.
